Meet Dr. Dellwyn M. Turnipseed

While at Tougaloo College, Dr. Dellwyn Turnipseed had the opportunity to shadow several professions while obtaining her undergraduate biology degree, including dentistry. She enjoyed the idea of making a difference in another person’s life by enhancing their ability to smile with confidence & ended up earning her dental degree from University of Mississippi School of Dentistry.

Since then, Dr. Turnipseed has continued her education with Gerety Orthodontic Seminars & courses in bioprogressive orthodontics, implants & more. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association & National Dental Association.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Turnipseed enjoys cooking & gardening. She is the proud mother of three, Chloe, James Evan & Bria & is excited to welcome two grandchildren, Aiden James & Noa Nicholle.

Dr. Turnipseed loves to travel as well, & has been fortunate to have opportunities to volunteer her dental services abroad.
